Purpose of this website and app Castlevania Route Atlas provides an unofficial fan-made companion guide and local progress tracker for Castlevania games. The Atlas is available free of charge. Downloads and optional payments are handled through itch.io.
Not affiliated with Konami. Castlevania and related names belong to their respective owners. No games or ROMs are included.

Progress and offline storage The Atlas stores your progress, collections, route preferences and imported run data locally in your browser or app. It does not upload these records to a developer account or synchronize them between devices. Exported backups are files you control; imports are read locally. Browser data removal, uninstalling an app or changing browsers can remove or separate saved progress.
The installable website stores Atlas files in a service-worker cache for offline use. Local storage and this cache support saving and offline access. The Atlas code includes no advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Website hosting The online version is served through Cloudflare. Loading it and checking for updates sends ordinary network request information, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information, to the hosting infrastructure. Offline use of a downloaded copy does not require these requests. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.
Downloads and external links Opening Downloads takes you to itch.io, which handles its own accounts, downloads and payments under its privacy policy . External sites receive information when you visit them. The Atlas does not receive your payment details. For support and privacy questions, contact vasic.rob@gmail.com . Information you provide when contacting the creator is used to respond.

The online service processes technical request data to deliver the website and maintain its security and availability. The intended legal basis is the operator’s legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Support messages are processed to answer your request, on that basis or, where applicable, to take steps requested by you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Storage periods and international processing Local progress remains on your device until removed through browser/app storage controls or by uninstalling the app, subject to your browser’s storage policies. Keep an exported backup before removing storage. You control how long exported backup files are kept.
Support correspondence is retained for responding to and resolving your request and any necessary follow-up, or as required by applicable legal obligations. The Atlas does not maintain a separate server-side progress database.
Cloudflare operates internationally, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum describes processing and safeguards, including standard contractual clauses for applicable international transfers. Retention depends on the service and processing purpose; Cloudflare describes purpose-based and legal retention criteria in its privacy policy. No fixed number of days for this site’s hosting logs is asserted here.
Your rights Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the operator using the address above. Locally stored progress is accessible only on your device unless you choose to share a backup. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority .

You may download, install, run and use an official copy of Castlevania Route Atlas for your own personal use. You may keep backup copies and install it on your own devices. No payment is required to use the free release; optional payments do not grant additional rights.
You may not redistribute, re-upload, sell or publish copies of the Atlas, or modify and distribute or use modified versions, without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where applicable law permits this. Sharing links to the official website or itch.io page is allowed.
Your exported progress backups and your own run data are not subject to these restrictions. Third-party components remain governed by their own licences. Mandatory rights under applicable law are unaffected, including any rights concerning backup, interoperability or permitted study of software.
This licence does not grant rights to Castlevania games, names or other third-party material. Permission can be requested through the creator’s itch.io page .
